The study desks along the window wall of the library are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If a desk appears to be unoccupied, you may write your name on the dry-erase board to use the carrel for an period of time.
The study carrels in the north area are by reservation and there is usually a waiting list. Let Connie know of your interest and to be added to the list.
Because we do not have enough reserved spaces for the demand, we encourage our users to only reserve a desk or carrel when you have need to use the library on a regular and extended basis, such as dissertation writing, studying for general exams. These spaces are not meant to serve as a "second office."
